Yeah, yeah, yeah!

I haven’t died, I’ve just been busier than a Japanese prisoner of war - you won’t hear any complaints from me though, no siree Bob.

I’ll be back later today with something, but until then have a good day.

Apologies about the lack of blogging over the past couple of days.

I’ve had feck all time to even think about writing anything here recently, but I’ll be back again tomorrow with some extended nonsense.

For now I’ll leave you in the capable hands of Vanilla Ice.

Cheers!

Stop Procrastinating Fool

Sorry about the lack of a post yesterday (if you even noticed!) - had absolutely no time to do one and WordPress, along with some Plugins, needed updating.

Enough of this boring crap, and on to another rant. This time it’s about work ethic, or the lack thereof that quite a few people seem to have.

I’ve noticed in both the online world AND the real world that many many people seem to want to do as little work as possible, but have dreams and aspirations of bettering themselves in some way. I have news for you - it ain’t going to happen.

You have to work real damn hard to get anywhere in life, no matter what you want to do. Do you honestly believe someone like Richard Branson became successful overnight? Of course he didn’t! He worked his balls off for many years (and I believe he still does) to get to the stage he’s at now. If he had decided to just do the bare minimum he would probably not be anywhere near being a billionaire, believe me.

It all comes down to how badly you want it, whatever "it" is. You have to be prepared to give up lots of things in order for your dream to become a reality because in this life there isn’t anybody who can do it apart from YOU.

I think it really goes back to a previous post I made about hard work equalling success, as anybody who really REALLY wants something while more often than not work their socks off to make it happen.

It also comes down to getting stuff done without putting it off. W Clement Stone, who built an insurance empire worth hundreds of millions of dollars, would make his employees recite the phrase "Do it now!" again and again at the start of each workday. Action is far more important than thinking and planning - remember you don’t get paid for your thoughts and plans!

To add some impact to this, simply add the word "fucking". Yes it’s a a strong word but you need that impact, that call to action, that kick in the arse to get you moving.

Dreamers don’t make a money, doers make money.

Remember, "do it fucking now!"

Even Mr.T agrees.

Ideas, So Many Ideas

One of the problems I face is having loads of ideas but not having enough time to set them in motion.

I’ve decided to do something about this by at least throwing stuff out there and working on them more when I have the chance to do so.

The great thing about working on the Internet is that you can literally start something for pretty much nothing and then scale it if it starts to take off - my opinion is that too many folk are too quick to give up on something that could really explode at any time.

Look at Facebook, or MySpace, or Plenty Of Fish, or any number of other different places - all of them started with one idea (even if it wasn’t necessarily a unique idea) and gave it the chance to shine.

Business is a fantastic thing to get into - you literally only need to be successful once, and that’s it.

It’s being successful that’s the difficult part!

What Do You Do?

This is a question that I’m often asked - even by people who should know better.

To be honest, most people just blank over if I try to explain exactly what it is that I do to the point where I wonder whether or not I should just tell them I’m a drug dealer. Perhaps this would make them shut up!

Anyway, popular belief would have you convinced I was selling sex toys (yes, I’ve heard that) or some other stupid shit - unfortunately, the reality is a tad more mundane.

So mundane, I won’t be sharing it here - so there!

I’m taking a couple of days off for New Year so I’ll be back again on the 3rd of January.

Try not to miss me.

Hard Work = Success

I like to work during the night as it’s when I come up with some of my best ideas, and is oddly also the time where I work hardest.

Many times I find myself lost in something only to realise that it’s fast approaching the time when most folk are getting up for work!

Ah, the joys of an internet marketer!

Can’t complain though - not many other things you can get paid for when you actually get some sleep!

I also like to take time to listen to/see motivational shit on YouTube or the like, hence the reason why I’ll leave you with basketball coach Jimmy Valvano.

Toodles.
